The EU’s Common Agricultural Policy Q&A: is its governance robust enough to deliver the EU’s nature and climate goals?

The agreement on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) struck by the co-legislators in June 2021 falls short of protecting the environment and tackling the climate crisis . This Q&A shows the weakness of the deal’s governance structure and explains why this CAP should be voted down.
